At RosticceRì the counter always wins: everything is freshly prepared on a daily basis with regional products, also of organic origin. The selection of the products following the seasons and what is available on the market. This extreme attention for the genuine is benefiting the eyes, the palate and the health.
The counter proposes a grand assortment of food; from the best gastronomic Italian tradition to ethnic inspired dishes. Everything created and cared for personally by Maurizio Lustrati and his staff also using Massimo Riccioli's personal recipes. The assortment of dishes varies from original Rotisserie (arancini, suppli, stuffed zucchini flowers, baccalà fillets, chicken wings etc.) all deep fried in extra virgin olive oil, which stimulates the liver without intoxicating it. You will find the Vegetarian counter, where you can taste and purchase all thinkable dishes based on the most tasteful vegetables, that is everything from pasta sauces, vegetable crèmes, pulses, salads etc.
In the counter of the prepared dishes, other than the fabulous recipes of Meat and Fish dishes you can found our famous Polpette, made like the Italian grandmothers did, in many variations; Veal, Octopus, Chicken, Baccalà, Shrimps and Aubergine, moreover we offer a selection of semi-cooked dishes; that is for example pasta sauces and semi-cooked fish dishes ready to finish at home following our simple instructions. The idea is to save time and it allows anyone to present an excellent lunch or an elegant dinner at your own place whenever you want.
In the counter where you find the raw fish there is a wide selection of rigorously fresh Sushi and Sashimi; and moreover the raw fish in the Mediterranean style dressed with our condiments. From the end of September to the end of May RosticceRì proposes a fantastic selection of Breton Oysters; Belon, Finnes de Claires and Speciales.
During the winter RosticceRì proposes a selection of artisan cheeses, genuine and rich on taste. In the Summer you will find fruits – many kinds and in abundance, fresh, colourful and refreshing, organic fruit juices and natural homemade ice tea. The tea is selected by number one tea store in Rome “Tè e teiere”. RosticceRì also proposes an excellent selection of wines and liqueurs, organic beers and a lot more.
RosticceRì is not just a “take away”; in your breaks you can also enjoy a small meal at the counter.
